Controversial TikTok creator Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as SeaKing, has been released on bail following his arrest over allegations of cyberbullying Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
SeaKing was taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Department in Abuja, sparking widespread reactions online. His arrest was linked to social media content allegedly targeting the revered cleric.
Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore, who had been vocal about SeaKing’s detention, confirmed the news on Monday. He shared a photo of the social media influencer smiling in a car after his release.
The case has fueled debates on freedom of expression and the growing scrutiny of digital content creators in Nigeria.
