Lightning has killed three students in a secondary school in Anambra State.
Six others have been resuscitated.
Those involved, according to sources, were Senior Secondary School (SS3) pupils in Awka South Local Government.
The incident, according to a source, occurred at the weekend, when the pupils were playing football.
There was a downpour at the weekend in Awka, Anambra State capital and its environs.
The source said the lightning struck nine male students who were playing football with others on barefoot.
According to the source, “the pupils were practising on the football pitch with their coach, preparatory to a football tournament.
“The coach had ended the training before the rain started, but some of the pupils stayed to continue playing football.
