The Loveth Helping Hand Charity Foundation provides food to the vulnerable in Edo

Spread the love

In honor of Valentine’s Day, a group operating under the banner of the Loveth Helping Hand Charity Foundation fed more than 500 people who were in need on the streets of Benin City, Edo State.

Speaking to journalists in Benin, Mr. Nosa Kingsley Uwagboe, the group’s Board of Trustee (BoT), said that February 14 has been designated as a day to spread love, and that doing so with those who are most in need of it is a way to give back to the community. He claimed that many people are abandoned despite in need of affection and care.

“For today, we are looking at 500 persons,” he said. There is enough for everyone. Our guidelines are there should be no child left behind or hunger in the world. For this reason, we also run school programs in which we pick up kids off the streets and put them in classrooms.

We feel it is appropriate to exhibit our love and spend Valentine’s Day with Nigerians. We know that the day is really all about love and charity.

According to Uwagboe, “We decided to come out probably to see what we can do, feed as many as we can.”

He claimed that since the charity work began in 2021, they have not looked back and have continued to change people’s lives. We usually carry out this annual event. Thus, this year is not unique. It is more like to custom for.
