An anonymous Teacher in the school said that, fifteen years ago denied that the pictures are true representation of the present situation.
Meanwhile Akindoyogbe Isaiah Oluwagbemiga, an indigene of Igbotu and by the grace of God Almighty a senior citizen of this country, said that anyway for the avoidance of doubt about the photos.
He added ,that the principal post, call for helps.
This are the Jss1 and Jss2 students of Apoi National High School Igbotu writing First term Examinations on the floor because they cannot afford to have lockers and chairs of their own as directed by state government. I want to plead with the old students of this noble college to rise and provide plastic chairs and lockers for these poor students. This is what is going on in all schools in Nigeria now, only the old students that are supporting the school otherwise all schools are in the dilapidated stage. God Almighty will continue to provide for you all, said the principal
On Akindoyogbe struggles ,he buttress his fact that ,when storm removed the roof of one of the block of the classrooms, Principal reached out to him and asked the principal , what are the Parent Teacher Association ( PTA) members doing about the issue .He said; I, Akin shouldn’t go there at all, said the principal.
According to Akindoyogbe, I reach out to some of the old students that I have their contacts and asked them to act on it in their group.
One of them, when he saw these pictures again today told me that the roofing of that block of classrooms cost them four million naira,N4M.
With all these I am yet to understand what governance is all about in Local, State and Federal government in Nigeria, he added.
Reacting to the barefaced conditions, Kinga Olumide call for humanitarians support. Quote,I am weeping for my people.
It is not clear if the concern government fully aware of the awful and ghastly conditions of the leanring environment.
