Army killed seven terrorists in Kaduna community and weapons recovered

Troops of the Nigerian Army code-named ‘Operation Whirl Punch’ have killed seven terrorists terrorising locals are Kampanin Doka Village, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to the Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations Officer, Nigerian Army, Kaduna,  Lt. Col. Musa Yahaya, in aseparate attacks the terrorists neutralised no fewer than seven villagers.

The Army spokesman said, “Following a clearance operation conducted by troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army and Operation Whirl Punch in the general area of Kampanin Doka village at Birnin Gwari LGA of Kaduna State, four bandits who have been terrorising the locals have finally met their waterloo on 1 November 2023.

“During the operation, troops recovered one AK 47 rifle, one AK 47 magazine, one machete, one mobile phone, and fourteen Motorcycles from the criminals. In a related development, on 2 November 2023, some farmers who were harvesting their crops in the western part of Sabon Sara village fled their farms and alerted troops of the bandits’ attack.
