Celestial Church Moves Toward Unity: 15-Member Transitional Supreme Council Installed in Cotonou

In a landmark moment for the Church of Celestial Christianity, fifteen members of the Transitional Supreme Council were officially installed on Saturday, April 26, 2025, during a solemn ceremony in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

 

The event, aimed at fostering unity within the church, was attended by President Patrice Talon and several members of the government, signaling national recognition of the church’s efforts toward reconciliation.

 

Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa led the ceremony, accompanied by a large delegation of faithful Celestians, including his wife, MC Celine Oshoffa; MSE M.O Ajao; MSE Fatusin; AMSE Ebenezer Oshoffa; AMSE Shola Makinde; VSE Rufus Adeoba; VSE Olatosho Oshoffa; VSE Barthelomew; VSE Omidiora; VSE HO Micheal; AVSE Kayode Ajala, among others.

 

The installation of the Transitional Supreme Council marks a decisive step in Reverend Pastor Oshoffa’s ongoing mission to restore, reposition, and reunify the Church of Celestial Christianity, reaffirming a collective commitment to healing divisions and strengthening the spiritual foundation of the church.
