Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, renowned businessman and philanthropist—and father of Afrobeats superstar Davido—has been named Vanguard Newspaper’s Man of the Year, 2024, in recognition of his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s power sector.
The accolade, announced today by *Vanguard Media Limited*, highlights Dr. Adeleke’s investments and initiatives aimed at improving power generation and infrastructure in Nigeria. He was particularly commended for his leadership through Pacific Energy Company Ltd, which has played a significant role in driving private sector participation in Nigeria’s energy landscape.
