A young and vibrant Nigerian soldier, Olawọlẹ Samuel Oluwatobiloba, has tragically lost his life in the line of duty during a confrontation with Boko Haram insurgents in northern Nigeria.
According to the Nigerian military spokesperson, the battle had ended, but as the soldiers attempted to recover the bodies of fallen comrades, they unknowingly stepped into a planted explosive trap, which detonated and claimed Olawọlẹ’s life.
According to Itunu, a family member, she mentioned that the deceased was given birth 35 years ago in Ogun State, he got married in March 2024, but tragically lost his life on March 5, 2025, leaving behind his father and a pregnant wife.
The heartbreaking incident has left his family in deep mourning. His wife, who is currently pregnant with their first child, must now face life without him.
